ENDEAVOR SNOWBOARDS X SKULL SKATES 154
The Endeavor Skull Skates snowboard brings back the original Crystal Ocean snowboard... Read moreThe Endeavor Skull Skates snowboard brings back the original Crystal Ocean snowboard shape they designed in the 90s. Only available in a 154, the Skull Skates snowboard has a super quick radius nose and tail and blunt low profile shape. The effective edge on this traditional cambered board rides big so there’s no issues carving groomers. They wanted a stiff flex like their board from the 90s so you can expect an aggressive ride. They also added two extra sets of inserts below our 6 packs to ensure you can ride all the way back. Skull Skates is Canada’s oldest skateboard company dating back to 1976. Although predominately known as a skate brand, PD and their crew have snowboarding roots older than most snowboard companies around today. This collaboration combines the O.G. Bomber Skeleton graphic from 1988 along with the highly innovative Crystal Ocean wide shape and design from 1993 - updated with Endeavor's exclusive Phonon Topsheet and Smoothride Sidewall technology. When it comes to powder conditions, the tapered outline effortlessly keeps the nose up, while offering high maneuverable tail control. Compared to the SW 62 or even SW 58, the SW 70 has a shorter effective edge, making it a nimble ride despite being a 170 board. Read moreDarrell Mathes’ pro model the “Display” is for the rider who feels just as at home on a backcountry mission as they do at a street spot. The Display’s “Frame Camber” profile features flat camber underfoot which offers a skate inspired feel while the gradual rise toward the tips allows the board to float in powder with ease. Carbon Stringers and Aramid Strips provide strength and stability while the stiffer core offers a responsive feel without sacrificing the comfortability and playfulness you need for hot laps through the park. NOTE FROM THE ARTIST: I wanted to create a graphic that felt visually graphic, brought together the digital and physical world, and played with the idea of “Public Display.” Each number and silhouette on the base of the board is tied to a color wheel that lives within the Public Art Domain (art that is free to use and view publicly). Each color wheel can be viewed online by typing out the URL on the front of the board that corresponds with the number. The final number is a little Easter egg for anyone taking the time to type out the URLs. - Will Tuddenham Read less -
